Ricardo “fox” Pacheco is the first member of the new OFFSET lineup, the organization has announced on Sunday. OFFSET will build their new team around the veteran player after they parted ways with their former team featuring Luís “ZELIN” Lousada at the end of 2020.
“It is with great pleasure that we announce the return of the greatest figure of the Portuguese CS:GO to a Portuguese organization,” OFFSET wrote in a statement, adding that “after a period of reflection” they chose to solidify their position as “one of the largest Portuguese esports organizations” by strengthening investment in CS:GO.

Signing fox, who represented Giants for two years before the team closed its’ CS:GO division in December, is the team’s starting point. With fox joining, the 34-year-old that attended five Majors in his career will return to a Portuguese organization five years since departing k1ck, having represented the likes of Kinguin, G2, FaZe, Dignitas, and Tempo Storm in that time.
Who the remaining players that will form OFFSET‘s roster are is currently unknown, but according to a report by Fraglider from December, the organization was looking to acquire the whole former Giants lineup, which included players such as Filipe “NOPEEJ” Dias and Paulo “pr” Silva, as well as coach Vasco “vsk” Santos, with former Baecon member Bruno “shellzi” Teixeira expected to finalise the roster instead of Francisco “obj” Ramos.
