Paweł “innocent” Mocek is no longer contracted to MAD Lions, ending a five-month tenure with the organisation, the player has announced on Twitter. The 27-year-old joined them in August to replace Lucas “Bubzkji” Andersen but ended up playing only five tournaments before the team moved back to a full-Danish lineup in October.
“Today I announce that I have been released from my contract with MAD Lions and I am looking for a new home,” innocent wrote on Twitter. “Thank you for a short but good time! If you are interested in getting a player like me, hit me up! Open to any kinds of tests. See you on the server.”
In an interview with HLTV.org, innocent spoke about some of the issues that he ran into during his time with the team. He said that he “could feel the tension from day one” and that he found it “pretty damn hard” to fit in.
After being removed from MAD Lions‘ starting lineup, the 27-year-old played for mix team Poland alongside players like Paweł “byali” Bieliński and Karol “rallen” Rodowicz in three tournaments, including the DreamHack Masters Winter closed qualifiers, in which they managed to beat Nemiga.
