Counter Strike: Global Offensive

aliStair departs ORDER |

ORDER have announced the departure of Alistair “aliStair” Johnston, the team’s longest-standing member, on Thursday. The 22-year-old has also been the standout player for the team in 2020, averaging a team-high 1.22 rating.

The news looks to be connected with other changes in the Australian scene, as earlier HTT News reported that aliStair would be joining Renegades. There, he would fill in for the departing Christopher “dexter” Nong, who has been confirmed as a target for European squad mousesports.

aliStair is hoping to play more international competition

“My main goal with Counter-Strike is to do as much international damage as possible, make it out of Australia”, he said in a statement for ORDER, adding that going to overseas events, “one, two, or three a year keeps you going, it is the most motivating thing ever”.

While aliStair‘s next team hasn’t been confirmed, Renegades are the most likely option. If he would join the team, aliStair would reunite with three former ORDER player – Simon “Sico” Williams, Joshua “INS” Potter, and Jordan “Hatz” Bajic, who all made the same move over the last two years.

On the other hand, ORDER are now down to four men, with Ricardo “Rickeh” Mulholland looking to take over the AWPing duties going forward.

ORDER are now:

Australia Ricardo “Rickeh” Mulholland
Australia Karlo “USTILO” Pivac
Australia Jireh “J1rah” Youakim
Australia Matthew “Valiance” Hartrick
