Complexity release oBo |

Owen “oBo” Schlatter‘s time with Complexity has come to an end after a one-and-a-half year long tenure as a player of the North American organization. He entered the active lineup as a 15-year old in 2019 and reached a peak team ranking of #5 after winning the BLAST Premier Spring 2020 Europe Finals.

The teenager stepped down from the team in September of 2020, describing it as “the hardest decision I have ever made”, and return back home from the team’s extended stay in Europe.

oBo is exploring his options after parting ways with Complexity

After oBo‘s departure, Complexity have had issues assembling their full roster, fielding Niels-Christian “NaToSaphiX” Sillassen, Jamie “keita” Hall, Otto “ottoNd” Sihvo, and Jakob “JUGi” Hansen as stand-ins. Additionally, oBo‘s replacement and star-signing Justin “jks” Savage has struggled to get going, averaging a 0.96 rating since joining.

“I am always more than willing to bootcamp and be in Europe for extended periods of time,”, oBo said at the end of the year, hinting at the possibility of going on another long European trip. The youngster averaged a 1.11 rating across 2020, which will make him an appealing prospect for teams looking to build a new roster or refresh their current one.
