zevy joins Sharks |

Sharks have announced the addition of Romeu “⁠zevy⁠” Rocco to complete their roster, filling the spot left vacant by Fillipe “⁠pancc⁠” Martins, who was suspended from the team in January following sexual harassment allegations.

The 19-year-old joins the Portuguese organisation after impressing in Gamers Club Masters VI in December with DETONA, whom he helped to a title victory with a 1.15 rating. zevy had been a part of DETONA‘s main roster since June 2020, when he earned promotion from DETONA Pound, the organisation’s academy team.

Alongside his showing at Gamers Club Masters VI, zevy impressed in ESL Pro League Season 12 South America and CLUTCH Redragon Challenge 2020, posting a series-high 1.40 rating against Sharks in the latter event despite a 2-1 loss in the match.

Sharks are currently bootcamping in Serbia with their new lineup, and will make their first appearance on February 17 in the regional group stage of Snow Sweet Snow 2, where they will face off against Case, OFFSET, and eXploit.
