DreamHack has announced more details for its next Open stops, which will cover North and South America from March 10-14, with registration for the qualifiers in both regions already open.
The North American tournament will offer a prize pool of $70,000, with six teams receiving invites based on ESL’s World Ranking and two earning spots through the closed qualifier. The eight teams will be split into two GSL groups, with four advancing to the single-elimination playoffs, which will culminate in a best-of-five grand final.
The South American competition will see four teams battle through a double-elimination bracket, two qualifying through the closed qualifier and two receiving direct invites.
Both events will offer ESL Pro Tour points alongside their prize pools, with the winner of the North American tournament walking away with $35,000 and 100 EPT points, and the South American champion earning $16,000 and 60 EPT points.
