The on-air talent lineup for ESL’s first big tournament of the year, IEM Katowice 2021, has been unveiled by the organizer on Thursday. Aside from mainstays members of ESL broadcasts, the team will be spiced up with Aleksandar “kassad” Trifunović and Christopher “GeT_RiGhT” Alesund, and will feature Janko “YNk” Paunović as well.
IEM Katowice 2021 will kick off with a Play-in stage on February 16-17, where eight teams for the main tournament will be decided, joining the likes of Astralis, Natus Vincere, and Vitality in the fight for the title which will be claimed on February 28.
The main casting duos for the event will be Harry “JustHarry” Russell – Hugo Byron and Chad “SPUNJ” Burchill – Alex “Machine” Richardson, with the latter two’s move away from the casting desk leaving room for new additions.
Tres “stunna” Saranthus will be hosting the desk featuring the two Serbian tacticians and the NIP veteran, while Frankie “Frankie” Ward will take on the role of the interviewer. Additionally, four casters will be covering the B and C streams of the tournament in instances when multiple matches are played simultaneously.
