Quantum Bellator Fire, known for their run to the playoffs of the ELEAGUE Boston Major in 2018, have left the CIS scene behind and signed a Danish roster headlined by veteran BERRY.
The 30-year-old in-game-leader, who has represented teams like SK, Alpha and CPLAY in the past, will be guiding a squad of young players with the help of a Russian coach.
Artem “telstar” Esmantovich, who stayed on from the team’s previous lineup, said in a statement that “our management, as well as the coaching staff, will make every effort to ensure that the squad is able to prove itself in the highest positions in the competitive Counter-Strike.” The organization thanked Alexey “OverDrive” Birukov for his help in putting the squad together.
Aside from BERRY, the most experienced player on the team is Mathias “Maccen” Madsen, who represented Lyngby Vikings in 2020 and has 82 maps on record. Rounding out the team are 20-year-old Theis “J3nsyy” Jensen and two teenagers, Victor “Staehr” Staehr and Nicklas “JarKo” Rasmussen. The team are currently competing in ESEA Main, in which they hold a 6-0-0 record.
