MAD Lions to go international – Report

MAD Lions will bench two of their three remaining players as they aim to build an international roster, 1pv.fr reported on Sunday. roeJ, the last remaining member of the lineup with which MAD Lions made their debut in CS:GO, and HooXi, the team’s IGL, are on their way out of the squad.

The organization plans to include latest signing Thomas “TMB” Bundsbæk in their new, international lineup, and are exploring possibilities with a number of benched players and free agents currently on the market.

roeJ is the last member remaining that joined from Tricked in 2019

On Friday, it was announced that Rasmus “sjuush” Beck and Ismail “refrezh” Ali were leaving MAD Lions to join Heroic, a roster change that followed the departures of head coach Luis “peacemaker” Tadeu and, earlier, AWPer Frederik “acoR” Gyldstrand.

MAD Lions, whose CS:GO team is now managed by former mousesports coach Allan “Rejin” Petersen, is looking to do a complete overhaul with available international talent.

According to 1pv.fr, former NIP and fnatic player Simon “twist” Eliasson, forZe’s benched sniper Bogdan “xsepower” Chernikov, and Polish rifler Michał “MICHU” Müller are some of the players MAD Lions are in talks with for their international project.

According to the report, MAD Lions will soon be down to just one player:

Denmark Thomas “TMB” Bundsbæk

Denmark Fredrik “roeJ” Jørgensen (benched)
Denmark Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen (benched)
