Rock1nG leaves FATE |

Ivan “Rock1nG” Stratiev has parted ways with FATE, the Bulgarian player said on Tuesday. The announcement comes just days after the team was sent to ESEA Advanced following a 7th-8th place finish in the relegation stage of the Premier division.

FATE endured a frustrating start to the ESEA Premier season, losing their first five matches in the league, four of which without getting a map. The team showed improvements following the arrivals of Kalin “KalubeR” Erenditsov and Kostadin “rafftu” Turbinov, but defeats to BLINK and Sangal in the relegation tournament saw the Bulgarians drop back down to the Advanced division after three seasons in the second tier.

Rock1nG admitted to being “disappointed” with the recent results

“I’m not going to go into details, but I’m pretty much disappointed with the results we got and I want to start a new chapter,” Rock1nG wrote on Twitter. “I’m looking for international opportunities only. I can play as an entry, support or in-game leader.”

Rock1nG, who played for Bulgarian teams like Outlaws, Bpro and SKADE before joining FATE in January 2021, is no stranger to international projects. In 2018, he briefly stepped in for PRIDE and Valiance, and competed alongside players like Karl-William “kalle” Haraldsen, Mikkel “FliP1” Gelver and Saif “Sayf” Jibraeel in a mix team called Without Warning.

FATE have not yet announced who will be taking Rock1nG‘s place in the starting lineup for the next ESEA season, which will start on April 27. The team currently look as follows:

BulgariaNikolay “niki1” Pantaleev
BulgariaIvan “Patrick” Ivanov
BulgariaKalin “KalubeR” Erenditsov
BulgariaKostadin “rafftu” Turbinov

SerbiaMihajlo “feedme” Petrović (coach)
