oskarish to lead new Illuminar lineup

Illuminar have begun building their new team with the signing of Oskar “oskarish” Stenborowski, the organization has announced. More details about the remainder of the lineup, which promises to focus on the “development of new faces”, will be revealed soon.

The in-game leader’s arrival marks Illuminar‘s first player addition since the organization released their previous roster around Dominik “GruBy” Swiderski just three months into the team’s existence and only retained the head coach, Jędrzej “Bogdan” Rokita.

oskarish becomes the first piece of Illuminar’s new lineup

The 23-year-old has returned for a second stint with the Polish side after spending the last six months in and out of mixed-nationality teams. After he was benched in AGO in September, oskarish briefly reunited with Michał “mono” Gabszewicz and Daniel “STOMP” Płomiński in a Polish-Dutch Valhalla mixture late last year.

However, that team didn’t last long, with oskarish moving on to help create a new European lineup alongside the likes of Rasmus “SandeN” Sanden and Haakon “Radifaction” Tholo under the MNA organization, who went on to cease operations just three months later, leaving the Pole on the market once again.

oskarish will now be looking to start afresh again with the organization where he played once before and whom he led to victory at the ESL Polish Championship Autumn in late 2019,

flameZ completes OG lineup – Official

Shahar “flameZ” Shushan has completed OG‘s lineup, the organization has confirmed. The 17-year-old up-and-comer effectively replaces Issa “ISSAA” Murad on the roster, several weeks after the Jordanian player and OG decided to part ways on the back of a string of disappointing results at the beginning of 2021.

flameZ was one of the Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen-led side’s two biggest targets alongside Michał “MICHU” Müller, who was reportedly still being considered as a potential signing until early April.

flameZ completes OG’s lineup ahead of the BLAST Spring Showdown

This marks the second change in the European team in less than a month following the addition of Nikolaj “niko” Kristensen, who joined OG as a replacement for Nathan “NBK-” Schmitt after the Frenchman was benched due to in-game differences in late February.

“With Nikolaj and Shahar now joining the roster, we are confident that we can keep pushing the team towards the highest levels of Counter-Strike,” OG’s COO, Charlie Debs, said. “Shahar is an amazingly talented young player who already understands what it takes to perform at the highest level, and we will do our best to offer him the right tools to bloom even more this season.”

The Israeli player has been transferred from Endpoint, where he made his name as an up-and-coming star in recent times. He averaged a 1.13 rating over the course of a seven-month tenure with the British organization, helping them reach the top 30 in the ranking and most recently qualify for the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown.

The same tournament is where flameZ will play his debut with OG. His new team has been pitted against Astralis in the first round of the single-elimination bracket, which will kick off on Tuesday, April 13.

After a forZe trial, Woro2k joins MAD Lions

Team coach Jakub “kuben” Gurczynski appeared on the ‘HLTV Confirmed’ podcast last week to talk about his vision for the team and the organisation’s new preference for young, up-and-coming players. He also revealed that a seasoned in-game leader will eventually be brought in to help guide the squad, which is currently made up of players with very limited experience.

“We are excited to give these rookies a shot,” senior manager Allan “Rejin” Petersen told HLTV.org. “They are eager to perform and show what they can do. We are not done yet with our lineup and will most likely add another player to the lineup.

“With the coaching staff we have behind the players, we sure are on to something great. It will take time but we are here for the long run.”
